Minicab questions
Can I stop a Petchey Cars minicab in the street?
No. Private hire vehicles can only carry passengers who have booked through us. Please book by phone or through the app, even if you can see one of our cars nearby.
How do I know the fare?
We tell you the fare when you book. App bookings show it before you confirm.
How will I recognise my car?
We send you a text message when your driver arrives, with the driver’s name and the car’s make, model and registration. Always check these before you get in.
Do you take wheelchair users and assistance dogs?
Yes. Assistance dogs are always carried free of charge. Tell us about any mobility needs when you book so we send a suitable vehicle.
